Noom app Day 2 journey- Breakfast video and highlight of app

TODAY!  On day 2 of Noom, you start logging your meals and do your first weigh-in.  Day 1 is more psychology and letting you know what to expect and how the Noom system works.

Highlights are:

  • Green foods are Low caloric density foods, Yellow is medium caloric density foods and red are high-density foods.
  • Weighing yourself everyday, to build a habit
  • Logging your water and your exercise that is fit to your goal and profile

So, my profile is menopausal age, female, goal to lose 60 pounds, with arthritis and back and knee injuries.  They also ask you questions to see how self-directed you are and what level of comfort you have with interacting with a trainer, if you need to be motivated to log weighs, the scale, etc.

I used to do bodybuilding, so I am very used to weighing in, also taping myself, so logging meals, weighing in is the standard fare for me.  I don't have any insecurities about doing it or mental blocks.

My stats today:  Weigh-in: 220 lbs

Breakfast:  Italian frittata/ the app recipe "Double Tomato & Turkey bacon Omelette".  I didn't have turkey bacon, so I used 3 tablespoons of cream cheese and added a lot more spices.

I added sofrito, parsley, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning blend(homemade), and turmeric.  Before breakfast, I drank one serving of water right when I woke up.  And then I drank another while I was cooking because I take a turmeric ball on an empty stomach every morning.  See the next blog for that.

Ok, off to finish my real estate pre-licensing course... I've got work to do!
